Busy working
today – wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy free food, free rent and free furniture
and make people feel sorry for you at the same time? That’s what sociopaths do.
Indeed, Athena
Dean boasts about such things:
“The owner had moved
into the house during a traumatic transition time in her own life and had
created a sanctuary out of it…
When I told her that I
had no furniture or anything, and that I would be furnishing it a little at a
time, she looked around and asked ‘Well, do you like what’s here? I can let you
have whatever you would like.’”
Sounds like a classic sociopath.
In her book,
The
Sociopath Next Door, Dr. Martha Stout writes this:
“…any reasonably clever
sociopath can act with saint-like niceness for his own manipulative purposes.”
Remember trash
bags?
Remember stolen
furniture? Athena Dean manipulated her former roommates for years – they paid the rent and utilities for years.
And now this
woman is running another company?!
It’s scary
to even think about this woman writing contracts now for BookJolt! I cringe and
grieve for her victims.
And… this is who the local Rotary Club embraces?!!!
The
community would be best served if she would actually work:
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet
life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told
you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you
will not be dependent on anybody. (1
Thessalonians 4:11-12)
